The Honeywell Gent 805590 is a conventional standard detector base designed for use with the Gent ES Detect range of conventional detectors, developed to operate with the Xenex control panel, replacing the earlier Vision 20/20 range. Supplied without a diode, it provides a secure and reliable mounting platform for compatible smoke and heat detectors within conventional fire alarm systems.

The base features a slide-easy design with automatic closing of the loop bus wiring system during detector extraction, and detector extraction locking enclosed within the base itself, allowing quick and safe removal for testing or maintenance. It is a one-way only fit, preventing incorrect installation on site. Ease of installation and generous space for wire connections make it straightforward for engineers to wire and commission during first-fix.

Constructed from durable ABS material in white, similar to RAL 9010, the base is built to withstand a wide operating range, with an application temperature from -20°C to +72°C and storage temperature from -25°C to +75°C. Connection terminals accept wire from Ø 0.6mm to 2mm², and cable entry can be made either from the side or through the bottom plate.
