The ZKTeco ZK-D2180 is an 18-zone walk-through metal detector engineered for accurate, efficient security screening in high-traffic environments. It features eighteen mutual over-lapping detecting zones with simultaneous alarm capability from multiple zones, and each zone offers 256 adjustable sensitivity levels, allowing precise localization of metal objects and preset exclusion of false alarms from small items like coins, keys, jewelry, or belt buckles.

The detector supports separate counting of in and out numbers of persons, and pairs threat indication with synchronous sound alerts and LED indicators. It’s compatible with the ZK Metal Detector App/Software and ZKBio SIS for real-time monitoring and data logs, and two sets of red LEDs are evenly distributed on the left and right door panels, showing steady red when metal contraband is detected. Connectivity features include TCP/IP communication, remote control, and linkage with turnstiles.

Built for reliability and ease of maintenance, the unit is designed with only two pieces of cable and eight screws for easy assembly, includes password protection so only authorized personnel can operate it, and is harmless to the human body, including individuals with heart pacemakers, pregnant women, and magnetic media. The housing features a water-proof bottom and fireproof material construction, and the overall unit stands 2226mm high, with an internal passage height of 2001mm, external width of 844mm, internal passage width of 710mm, and external depth of 499mm.
