The Flame Defender 50Ltr Water Type Fire Extinguisher (Naffco) is a mobile, wheel-mounted water fire extinguisher engineered for high-capacity fire suppression in industrial and commercial settings where fires involve ordinary combustible materials. Its extinguishing agent is plain or additive-enhanced water, expelled under pressure to rapidly cool burning materials and interrupt the fire triangle, making it most effective for Class A fires involving freely burning materials such as paper, cloth, wood, and furniture.
Designed as a cartridge-operated mobile unit, the extinguisher’s cylinder and cart assembly are made of rugged steel, welded to withstand extreme use conditions, with the cylinder assembly mounted separately on a steel frame for easy maintenance — it can be detached simply by removing the steel clamps. The unit is externally coated by electrostatic powder painting after shot blasting for maximum corrosion resistance, and internally coated with electrostatic block powder resin coating for the same purpose, ensuring long service life even in demanding environments.
The extinguisher is equipped with a large brass, nickel-chrome plated cap for easy refilling of the agent, and uses a high-pressure, CE-approved CO2 cylinder as its propelling agent. The unit is designed to comply with all specification requirements of BS EN 1866-1, and is Kitemark and LPCB approved, with cylinders compliant to Council Directive 2014/68/EU (PED), certified by BSI (2797). Its mobile trolley design ensures easy maneuverability for quick response during large-scale Class A fire emergencies.
